Team Future Camp at the AIS

4 of our girls went to RG Team Future Camp at AIS from the 26th to 29th of June 2017 organised by Gymnastics Australia. They were Francesca Poi, Jessica Poberezovska, Sophia Dew & Tahlia Stewart.

"I went to the Australian Institute of Sport in June for a camp with three other Glen Iris gymnasts. It was a lot of fun but challenging at the same time. The three master coaches were: Valeria Vatkina, Stacey Umeh and Lisa Bradley. They coached us in different a

reas of rhythmic gymnastics. By the end of the camp my muscles were very sore and we were lucky enough to take part in a recovery session in the pool. 2 minutes in 15 degrees water and 2 minutes in the 38 degrees water. We did that 3 times. It was a wonderful experience and hope to go again!"
